MODERNVIEW DECKING LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE!
ModernView Decking’s new website is attractively designed with crisp animation that sets the mood for an inviting expanded living space. The site contains a vast array of easily navigated information on board features, colors, warranty, installation along with an idea gallery, green information, a deck calculator as well as fastener suggestions.
The site also focuses on low environmental impact of the boards, the new total encapsulation technology, along with design and installation flexibility. ModernView Decking allows contractors to install the deck boards in applications whether on or in the ground or under water, without voiding the warranty

What type of composite deck materials do you carry? Why did you stop carrying Portico?
Portico is no longer being manufactured. We have a number of decking options. As the composite industry has matured over the last 10 years, many lines have come and gone. We have been very fortunate to have had outstanding lines during that time. We are very excited about the newest products we have that include a composite made from recycled material that has a fantastic realistic finish to it. We just built a 12×12 display yesterday in Whitinsvillle. We will have full literature shortly and stock is arriving within days. Thanks for the question!
I was looking up composite decking on Consumer Reports and based on the July 2010 reviews, they recommended CorrectDeck CX, which I believe is now known as DuraLife Siesta. The DuraLife site lists your store as a supplier. Do you carry this product? Do you consider this product to be of high quality and most resistant to mildew? Is there a composite decking you would recommend over DuraLife?
Thanks.

Unfortunately for Consumer Reports, the composite decking industry has continued to change at a fairly rapid rate. As mentioned in a previous post, Portico is no longer. We now have a new composite decking called ModernView. It is made with 95% recycled material, has a 25 year warranty, is good for LEED credit, and compatible with hidden fasteners. The stuff really looks fantastic and we’re very excited about it. Each store has sample boards and pricing. Well worth the look!
Great! Thanks for the speedy response. Will be in this weekend to have a look.
What type of PVC decking do you carry?
We stock Kleer and Modernview decking. We have ready access to Azek decking. We have a full size deck on display in Whitinsville and display boards in all stores. Composite decking has come a long way in 15 years and the new products we have now are exceptional. Full literature packages and web information is still under development.
