Dedication, determination, drive and good old-fashioned hard work have been the mainstay for Koopman Lumber and Hardware. Established in 1939 by the late Peter Koopman, it’s still owned and operated by the Koopman family today.

President Donald Koopman, along with his son Dirk, daughter Denise Brookhouse and son-in-law Tony Brookhouse have made Koopman’s a three-location retail business that’s dedicated to its customers.

Over the years, the business has grown with locations in Grafton, Whitinsville and Uxbridge, servicing most area contractors and close to homeowners within a 40-mile radius. The Whitinsville location is 18,000 square feet featuring a full-service drive-through lumberyard and design center. The 15,500 square foot Grafton store also features a drive-through lumberyard and a rental service for tools, party supplies and equipment. The 12,500 square foot Uxbridge store offers tool and party rentals along with an extensive power shop featuring Stihl, Honda and Cub Cadet.

The stores are meticulously organized and packed with inventory spanning the gamut from paint and hardware supplies to grill accessories, contractor supplies, lumber, home and garden products and more.

Koopman Lumber and Hardware employs over 100 people who are extensively trained to provide the best possible customer service.
